Our Process
1. Your Entry Point
If your vehicle requires collision repairs, please inform us right away. Our experienced estimators will assist you through the entire claims process and coordinate any necessary towing services to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience.
2. Seamless Vehicle Drop-Off
Please bring your vehicle to us directly. Or if it’s not drivable, please contact us and we’ll get it towed to our location. We’re here to ensure a smooth transition for your vehicle’s repair process.
3. Approval for Repairs
One of our estimators will ask you to sign a repair authorization form, which permits us to proceed with the necessary repairs on your vehicle. This ensures that we have your consent to begin the work and carry out the repairs to your satisfaction.
4. Detailed Damage Analysis
Your estimator will work with you to assess the vehicle and develop a detailed repair plan. This includes conducting a pre-scan of the vehicle’s software and electrical systems, disassembling the damaged area, and preparing a comprehensive estimate.
5. Insurance Approval for Repairs
Before we can start any repairs, the insurance company must approve them. Sometimes delays occur while waiting for approvals. We will diligently communicate with you and your insurance provider throughout this process.
Supplemental Repairs
If additional damage is discovered during disassembly, we will request a supplement to the original repair estimate from the insurance company. Depending on the insurance company’s procedures, this supplementary approval process may take additional time and sometimes require multiple supplements.
6. Ordering Parts
Once we receive approvals from the insurance company for the repair work and any necessary supplements, we will start sourcing and ordering the parts required to repair your vehicle.
7. Initiation of Repair Work
Unibody Repair Equipment Setup (If Required)
The precise location and fit of integral parts are crucial for your vehicle’s operation and appearance. If required, we will measure your vehicle’s frame using a sophisticated 3D measuring system in accordance to published factory specifications and ensure it is returned within precise tolerances.
Ensuring Proper Fit for Newly Installed Panels
All collision-related repairs involve some level of cosmetic work and frequently require the replacement of factory panels. We will carefully check for a proper fit and ensure that your vehicle’s parts look and align as they did when originally new.
Reinforcing Corrosion Protection in Fixed Areas
Most vehicles come with some type of corrosion protection that the original manufacturer applied.
Finalizing Metal Work and Preliminary Testing
We start by checking all systems for proper functionality and conducting a thorough quality control review of the repair work to ensure everything meets our standards.
9. Start of the Paint Application Process
Detailed Multi-Step Refinishing
Most vehicles are treated with a base coat/clear coat refinish system. This process includes multiple application steps to ensure a high-quality, factory-like finish and optimal durability.
10. Reassambling Your Vehicle
Once we refinishing is complete, we carefully reattach all outer components, including mirrors, moldings, and various hardware, ensuring everything is securely in place.
11. Mechanical/electrical System Inspection
Although much of the mechanical work such as replacing suspension parts, performing alignments, and servicing airbags, is done during the repair process, every vehicle will also receive a post-scan of its computer. This scan is completed before delivery to ensure all systems function correctly.
12. Thorough Quality Inspection
Your vehicle will undergo an extensive post-repair inspection of all completed work. Additionally, we will conduct a thorough test drive to ensure everything is functioning properly.
13. Complete Cleaning and Detailing
The vehicle will be thoroughly cleaned and detailed before you pick it up, ensuring it is pristine.
14. Tracking Your Vehicle Delivery
The estimator who oversaw your repair process will review all completed work on your vehicle and address any questions or concerns you might have.
